await you at our unique Log Cabin situated on a small unnamed
lake. If you always wanted the 'fly-in experience' without
the huge expense this is the spot for you!
Come and stay
in our paradise situated halfway between North Bay and
Sudbury. The spacious, rustic 3-bedroom cottage can easily
accommodate 5-6 guests. It is one of only two cabins on
the lake. Although there is no hydro, you will still have almost all of
the comforts of home since it is powered by a large generator and propane
appliances. Also enjoy the large wood-burning sauna before you plunge
into the sparkling, spring-fed lake for a swim.
Fishing on the lake is unbelievable!
Catch Largemouth Bass, Walleye and
Northern Pike. We encourage "catch and release" so
that
you can come back year after year
and never be disappointed but keeping one or two fish for a fresh meal
is acceptable! Our guests, whether they are beginners or seasoned fishermen,
are always thrilled with their fishing experience... it really is that
good !
If the lure of a great day of fishing
isn't enough, enjoy a beautiful paddle in our 15' kevlar
canoe on the serene lake amidst loons, ducks and even spot
the occasional Moose feeding along the shore. There is
also lots of land to explore on the 160 acre property... 4 private hiking
trails, excellent birding and tons of wildlife such as rabbits,
ruffed grouse and ducks and geese in our private swamp
and Moose and Deer sightings. Be amazed as the "Gray Jays" land
near you or even on your outstretched hand for a piece
of bread.
We offer year-round getaways and winter
road access.
Come up for hunting season and be
prepared for the splendor and beauty of Northern Ontario's fall colors
on the property which has many beautiful maples. In the winter, the land
is transformed by a beautiful blanket of snow, it is
truly a winter wonderland. No matter how cold it is outside,
you will be toasty next to the woodstove in the log cabin
or fishing in the heated ice hut.
We will happily customize a package
to suit your needs. This is not only an ideal family vacation spot but
also perfect for a "women's
getaway" trip for gals and their friends to experience nature's beauty
and get away from it all! Get together and plan a trip
with the girls that you will never forget.
We offer daily and weekly rentals
and one of our most popular packages which includes a fishing charter

We were very proud to host a National Geographic film crew at our property in May 2006. They stayed at our cabin and filmed footage of our beautiful spring-fed lake and land for one of their upcoming documentaries. |
